Set to coincide with the end of the Chinese Year of the Monkey, EXIT monkey was a performance art tribute to endings and beginnings inspired by the underlying conviction that change presents pivotal opportunities. In a time of accelerating technological revolutions and hectic lifestyles, we often don’t seem to have the time necessary to evaluate what is necessary, what is meaningful, and what is just a passing whimsy. The site-specific performance showcased Monkey Waterfall cast in 2 shows at the Kaka‘ako Agora.
