Shrines to Paradise

Shrines to Paradise explores why people travel, and why and how residents and visitors to Hawai‘i “connect” and “disconnect.” Director Yukie Shiroma collaborates with Native Hawaiian and local artists to create a full-evening extravaganza of dance, theatre, song, and storytelling, transforming Honolulu’s City Hall into a carnival-like setting.
